Kicking off National Hospital Week in May … Meeker Memorial reflects on the recent award for the Patient Experience
Meeker Memorial celebrated Patient Experience Week April 23-27, 2018
Meeker Memorial Hospital & Clinics (MMH&C) was proud to celebrate patient experience week together with staff, providers, volunteers, board members, champion leaders, and patient/family partners during the celebration event on April 26, 2018.
Hospital Board Members, retiring CEO Kyle Rasmussen, Patient/Family Partners, Joy Benn from the Minnesota Hospital Association and Jennifer Abfalter, Patient Experience Director display patient experience award.
During the celebration, Meeker Memorial Hospital & Clinics (MMH& C) was recognized by the Minnesota Hospital Association (MHA) for superior performance on several quality and safety initiatives. Meeker Memorial demonstrated excellent performance in areas like preventing falls, using less antibiotics, and preventing blood clots. The award also recognizes our work engaging patients in safety initiatives. The Meeker Memorial GEM Council is our patient and family advisory council. This team is committed to patient experience, quality, and patient safety.

National Hospital week is May 6th through the 12th and we will continue celebrating the work of staff to provide Care As It Should Be, including staff recognition and a community open house on Wed., May 9th from 4:30-6:30 p.m.Leave a reply →
