Hand therapy is a specialized form of rehabilitation of the upper extremity. Our hand therapists are occupational therapists who have received specialized training and credentialing in treating conditions of the entire upper extremity (hand, wrist, elbow, shoulder girdle, cervical area or multiple joints). Meeker Memorial Hospital’s hand therapists will implement a treatment plan to address edema/vascularity, pain, scarring, range of motion/flexibility, wounds, strength, dexterity, sensation, function, endurance and posture/movement. We also offer customized dynamic and static splinting if ordered by your doctor.
